The affluent neighborhoods register 58% of the positives during the sixth wave after the total reopening of most economic sectors.

The behavior of the coronavirus has changed in Barcelona in this sixth wave. The infections have soared especially in uptown neighborhoods. 58% of the positives registered as of November were detected in the neighborhoods with the highest incomes (Sarrià, Les Corts, Eixample, Gràcia and Sant Martí), by 40% in the rest of the city (Ciutat Vella, Sants , Nou Barris, Horta and Sant Andreu).

In this sixth wave, as happened at the beginning of the fifth, mobility seems more linked to leisure and purchasing power than to necessity.
