To prepare and give an effective public health response in the context of the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, it is necessary to provide concrete, reliable, early and timely results on the current situation in different affected populations. This is the motivation of our project, whose study populations are made up of both the general population and the vulnerable population, that is, those people who live in economically disadvantaged areas and people who live with complex chronic conditions.
To achieve the objectives of the study we propose an Open Science multidimensional study with a Real World Data design. We integrate data from multiple sources of information on seroprevalence and characteristics of the study populations from longitudinal surveys, on clinical practice and other characteristics of these populations from population registries, as well as on the distribution in the areas where these populations reside in certain socioeconomic, demographic, housing, or environmental factors (meteorological variables and air pollutants).
